A: Alumni Citations are bestowed upon St. Lawrence alumni who have displayed exemplary service to the university or their local community or have achieved outstanding professional accomplishments.

Q: Who is eligible to receive an Alumni Citation?

A: Any graduate of St. Lawrence University is eligible to receive an Alumni Citation.

Q: What is the selection process for Alumni Citations?

A: The Alumni Executive Council’s Membership and Honors Committee solicits nominations each year. While self-nominations are not valid, nominations are accepted from a nominee’s family members or friends, St. Lawrence alumni, or other campus community members. Of all the nominees, three to five candidates are selected by the committee, which then forwards the names to the Honors Committee of the Board of Trustees and, finally, to the Board of Trustees for approval.
